Appealing for Justice - CWBA Foundation Scholarship Fundraiser

Please join us on February 9th from 6:00-8:00 for the Appealing for Justice - CWBA Foundation Scholarship Fundraiser celebrating The Honorable Jean E. Dubofsky, Colorado’s first female Supreme Court Justice.

The Hon. Jean Dubofsky and author, Susan Casey, will speak about Appealing for Justice, their book chronicling Justice Dubofsky’s groundbreaking path as one of the few women at Harvard Law School in 1964, to civil rights attorney, to her appointment to the Colorado Supreme Court in 1979, to her lead role in the landmark gay rights case of Romer v. Evans.

We are honored to host this event at the beautiful home of another Colorado trailblazer: Stephanie Donner, Chief Legal and People Officer at Galvanize and the former Chief Legal Counsel for Governor Hickenlooper.

The $50 ticket price will include entrance to the event (address to be provided upon purchase), light appetizers, and wine. All proceeds from ticket sales will support CWBA Foundation scholarships to CU and DU law students. Unable to attend? Please consider making a donation.

Appealing for Justice will be available for purchase, by cash or check, at the discounted price of $20 (USD). The Hon. Jean Dubofsky and Susan Casey will be available to sign your book after purchase. On the registration page, please indicate if you anticipate purchasing the book at the event so that we may have the appropriate inventory on hand.
