Saturday Keynote Speaker sponsored by the CWBA Foundation: will be a joint presentation by retired soccer star Cat (Reddick) Whitehill and pay equity expert, attorney, and law professor Andrea Kramer. There is a big lawsuit and collective bargaining agreement negotiations going on right now between US Soccer and its female players pertaining to pay equity and equality in general (for instance, the US Men’s Soccer players get to fly first class while the women have to fly coach; the men always play on grass fields while the women frequently have to play on turf). They will speak about this and other high profile cases, efforts on pay equity, and the importance of supporting women in sports.
