Each year, the Colorado Women's Bar Association Foundation (CWBAF) honors women lawyers who have made a difference in our communities and have "raised the bar" for all of us. The evening promises to be memorable, with attendees gathering to celebrate the accomplishments of our honorees and thank them for paving the way for other women in Colorado and around the nation.
The 2024 Annual Raising the Bar Celebration will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the History Colorado Center.
This year's theme is "Women Who Are Raising The Bar In A Changing Legal Landscape." From AI, data privacy, and cyber-security to climate change; from the end of affirmative action in college admissions to the assault on DEI in the private sector; from migrant influx to ballot challenges - our legal landscape is changing at a rapid pace. We are honoring the women who are leading the way on these novel issues and keeping Colorado on the cutting edge. Whether they are fighting for civil rights or democracy, preserving the environment, or protecting consumers, these are the legal innovators who raise the bar by staying at the forefront of change and working to ensure positive outcomes in the face of headwinds.

The Colorado Women's Bar Association Foundation's (CWBAF) mission since 1988 is to promote the advancement of women in the law, and to harness the power of the legal profession to protect and promote the welfare of all women. CWBAF works in conjunction with the Colorado Women's Bar Association (CWBA) to implement the CWBA's charitable and educational work.
